To the right person they are working a lot. Problem is there aren't many of those people anymore . For that reason they don't sell for much. I bought a nearly new set like this with all the accessories for £20

That makes two of us. I use mine a lot for work. Mainly heating seized parts, brazing and lead loading.

I also must be unusual as I use the Oxy set at work quite a bit.
I even do the odd bit of Brazing, annealling copper washers, freeing seized fasteners.

I still use OA, its way too useful to give up on despite the BOC rental/refill charges on the acetylene.

I've a small oxy-acetylene kit, refillable bottles, don't use it that often, like all kinds of tools and machines I have, but when you do need it it's indispensable. I mainly using it for freeing up seized stuff.
