I've been asked to make another prop for a short film, so thought it'd be a good excuse to learn how to drive fusion 360. Got all the parts designed, then checked Sculpteo to see what sort of cost I was looking at. €500!, and they don't do a tinted/dyed clear that I need for a diffuser. Now I'm mulling over hitting the sod it button and splashing out on a Bambu X1 to print it myself

She did call me into the kitchen today to ask what was this doing in the freezer? (A consaw crankshaft) I replied - shrinking it for installation what did you think it was in there for?

She was not very understanding

If a purchase increases the scope and spread of avenues of exploration, then it isn't so shabby.
Taking up space is a bit of a downer, though.
