I am looking for some 25mm diameter bar, Maraging steel, 250 or 350 (not really fussed) but cannot seem to locate any anywhere. Tried Smiths without luck so if anyone has any suggestions I would be grateful.

Dynamic metals stock it as far as I remember. Think it’s sold under the trade name of Vascomax

No affiliation, just a satisfied customer. Good place to get 7075 aluminium from at realistic prices too

Anyone able to point me in the direction of a supplier near St Albans, Hertfordshire? Looking for basic mild steel stuff. 50 x 50 x 3mm box section, angle iron etc

My googling is struggling and I'm not sure I want to deal with the whole delivery from metal4u etc if I can go pick it out/up myself

Try Goodman steel in Reading , they deliver to me regularly very good prices on box section at the moment , depending on quantity I keep a bit of stock , I'm in Watford

I’m 15mins from St Albans and could order some with one of my regular orders or I may have it in stock, I keep a fair bit of 50x50x2, 100x50x3 and 50x25x2 box in stock plus some other sizes, flats etc
