My old cheapie Macallister Table Saw has died (I fixed the broken carbon brush wires, found the NVR switch had packed-up, bypassed that to test, & got a brief run & clouds of acrid magic smoke for my trouble).
For general basic wood-bothering (like cutting ply and wood for my ongoing camper build)..... would I be better off investing in a track saw as its replacement?
I've never used a track saw, but understand they are good for such tasks - while wrestling an 8x4 sheet on a table saw is an awkward PITA also.
Advice & recommendations welcomed!
