Care to share what painting process you all use on your undersides?
I've got the old mini floors back to almost pristine clean bare steel, sanded to death with 80, panel wiped.
There's very small amounts of pitting left (really small) so I have brushed everything with Jenolite 'converter' then wiped it off whilst still wet 20 mins after, leaving just a very small amount if anything in a hope it may help slightly.
Once dried for an hour its had a good scrub with a scotch and 3 coats of epoxy before having to call it a day for today.
I'm thinking just keep the 3 coats of epoxy then a bit more to brush into any seams before a quick 240 flat, PU seam sealer, 2 coats of gravitex then 2k colour straight on top to finish... can't see any point using a high build primer between the epoxy and stonechip and I really don't want to have to sand this time stealing bugger any more times than I have to haha!
