When we cleared my father’s last shop and workshop, it was a skip below the upstairs fire escape, as we were chucking stuff in folk were looking to see what they could scavenge. One guy nearly got an old 26” Tv on his head, it was in a gated car park.Oh yes. I have to clear my shop of 27 years of junk because someone wants it for a pet food shop. I am not sure I know where to start. Lots of old computers, printers, CCTV recorders, test gear (old) and boxes of bits and pieces.
When we moved here, and when I cleared the old mans house, two local charity shops for local charities got the lot. Maybe its an affluence thing, but selling the odd thing is not so bad, but if its loads, its in the far too much hassle category.
