I could do with a CHEAP laptop.
All I'm going to use it for is building my business website on wix, a bit of general internet surfing, maybe I'll put some music on it, maybe ill put illustrator on it, but not much else.
I only use my phone for internet at the moment and I don't stream or anything.
I guess it's always best to have better than you need though, but I assume literally anything will do what I need.
Internet connection will be either on our Wi-Fi, or tethered you mobile as I have loads of data use on my phone.
My girlfriend says to buy reconditioned rather than second hand. Not sure why.
I have an old small Samsung, but it's on Windows 7 and I can't manage to update it in order to get proper internet access.
All I know is I don't want anything Apple.
So, what do I look for. Makes? Spec? What operrating system?
I know ABSOLUTELY NOTHING about computers in general.
I've had a bit of a look at sites that sell reconditioned laptops but they are all the same to me.
Anything to avoid?
I assume every answer will be different, so rather than specific recommendations, just a bit of a guide to what i need would be great.
Nothing too big!
I wouldn't be buying one at all if I didn't have to put this website together and keep on top of web sales, so cheaper the better REALLY, as long as that doesn't mean it's rubbish.
I see things from £100 to £800 and don't know how cheapnoys safe to go
Thanks.
