Would be my choice but experience tells me you need to be careful up-ending these cast tables on 2 legs, they can take out the top fixing point under the table. What i would do now would be take it to a yard with forks and load it again upside down, back home and slide out on planks, then engine crane to turn it over with the weight off its 2 legs as you lift.

Dig the ground surrounding where you want if to go lower. You can do this with a digger or a spade. Then reverse the van etc. Backfill and make good afterwards.

Thats the best idea yet, we do have a small Mini Digger but it would have to be a Big sprinter sized hole.
We thought about lifting it with the digger but we think its too heavy for it as we can only guess its perhaps 200kg+? So we will see if the digger will support it

As the forks are coming down you need 2 good lads to take the weight on one side and lower down with the forks to the ground on edge, then just flip over to top side.

I put them on, which has made it a thousand times harder to tip over now without lifting assistance.

Let the van tyres down and you can dig the hole 3" less.

If you are lifting with the digger, you will have more stability and more lift the closer in to the machine you secure it.

A strap over an uncurled bucket with the dipper fully extended is the worst. If you can rig it, a strap at the upper dipper pivot gives a lot more capacity and stability.

Get something on van floor behind table so you can leverage it up, stick 1 long scaffold board under each pair of legs either side.
use small blocks of wood screwed to boards to hold legs from slipping. now table is on skids. then use another set of boards to act as ramp as others have suggested.

You need binoculars and tweezers. Look at it with the binoculars the wrong way round and pick it up with the tweezers.

I rented a 3.5 ton Luton a few weeks back. The bottom 3 ft of the roller shutter were missing, and what was left looked a bit banana shaped.

Apparently the last customer used it to transport a big V8 engine on a pallet, with nothing to restrain it. The first time he booted it up a steep hill, the pallet made a break for freedom, good job the van had a tail lift or the driver behind would have had a bit of a shock. I'd say he didn't get his deposit back...
