I suspect most if not all of you have probably done in excess of 150mph on remoulds!
Aviation tyres are often retreads.Care to explain? (scratching head emoji)
Plane tyres.
IIRC that is the law here in Pennsylvania for a school bus.Use remoulds on the trucks drive and tag axles, wouldn't use them on a steering axle.

Blizzaks are carp.Sorry but they are the worst winter tyre out there.Bridgestone Blizzak, I usually buy Kleber Quadraxer but I was offered a "loyalty discount" so went for the Bridgestones
I don't do cheap tyres.

Nokkan or anything from Scandi are miles ahead, those Blizzaks wear like mad too.
Different snow. I was extremely disappointed with Nokkans on my Lancia in the UK - after the 22 quid remoulds, they were terrible. On the remoulds I could get body roll on snow covered bends - and rarely triggered the ABS under braking. The Nokkans, while better than all year round tyres, just didn't offer the same grip or confidence - sold them on.Blizzaks are carp.Sorry but they are the worst winter tyre out there.Different

It's more than disconcerting on a motorbike.I'd go with diesel as well, very disconcerting when you hit it on a bend or roundabout.
We had one near us that seemed to get soaked every week. It saw the demise of several BMW's plus assorted others.
Oh yes...but not for long. LolAnyone else remember running remoulds on theirs?
That is really surprising. My pickup came with Blizaks and I took them off it after experiencing how pants they were in Alaska.Poooo! I only went for them as Auto Bild (the German Magazine) rated them as one of the best they had tested, I have had Kleber Quadraxers for a good few years now and they have been superb. I will be replacing the Blizzaks with Tarmac tyres after Easter and putting them away until next year.

I once drive very quickly through Hamstery Forest, taking a young lady to inspiration point! Those were the days, thankfully the midge were not out!Hundred miles an hour through Hamsterley forest, <sigh> those were the days. I'll tell you this lads, we have had the best of it. Navigating life now is an object lesson in evading tactics.
I think it's the law here now after National Express killed and maimed a load of kids running 20 year old tyres on their coaches.
