When I worked for BT some of the courses were residential, in the early days, rooms had a basin but no toilet. The instructors used to wind up the apprentices on the last day of the course that they couldn’t go until the basins had been checked with urine disclosing tablets. Many red faces among the lads. Life got more civilised later on with on-suite rooms, not before time. No, leave it in, saves running the hot water, just add washing up liquid (todays energy saving tip)
