The maths doesn't change because it's 0. Why would it when working out a percentage of 0. Not designed for 0, you're funny.

Post up some profit calculators that show the percentage as 100. You know the ones designed to calculate a percentage of 0 as 100.

As it doesn’t accept 0 as a cost you're not going to get much closer to 100%.

BTW this just confirms my earlier post stating all sale income is 100% profit until you remove the cost. No cost, no reduction in profit percentage.

The question wasn’t what percentage of zero but what was the profit percentage. Try and at least keep to the question than turn it into something that suits your flawed argument.

The formula for profit calculation is based on the assumption that your costs are > zero, because in business there are always costs, so it will always be greater than zero.
You can't divide by zero so the calculators you have linked won't work - I think one actually states you have to enter a cost greater than zero.

That doesn't mean the maths is wrong, it simply means the formula doesn't apply in a situation where costs are zero.
However you can still simply calculate the profit as I stated above, where profit = selling price.

Convert 1 into a percentage of 1....
