yes but you can get warranty and take it back if its a lemon thats what the daughter did when she bought one .i was think specially at that money. i no dealers can be dodgy aswell
Be sure to do an HPI check if buying privately, Car Vertical appears to give a comprehensive report.
I wouldn’t be put off buying privately but if I’d no car mechanical knowledge I’d take along with me someone who has. A descent diagnostic machine would be a good idea also for your peace of mind to check all the modules.
Also if its private…..is it vat paid or not…up your budget a bit I could sell you a nice L200 Barbarian.Hi
Is it just me or do people get a bit nervouse handing over large anounds of cash or bank transfer nowaday.

I needed £1400 in cash a week or two ago. All they could do was clear my account to allow £1000 a day from the ATM. I had to go two days in a row.My bank would flash that up as drug dealing or terrorism.
You're hard pushed to get 1.5k out of a French bank in cash, without a damn good reason.
Secondly, covers you against scams.
Why deal in cash if it's legit ?
I needed about £8.5k in cash, went to a branch of Natwest asked could I get it in cash. They said what's it for and I said a tractor. She just rolled her eyes and said "oh you're one of those" and laughed and started counting the cash out.I needed £1400 in cash a week or two ago
went in to our local halifax and they said theres only 1000 each day at the counter unless aranged
They're closing down the Halifax branch in my home town soon. I've also heard Lloyds are closing, but nobody seems sure.Problem now for getting large amounts of cash is theres less and less branches togo to….dont mind booking it, but refuse to go into town to a branch after March, Newcastle city centre will be our nearest, you cant even park near it. So Im slowly building up a stash, just in case I need it.
