Sounds like me and no doubt a few more folk on here i bet
The colder the temps the slower it takes for my lathe to run up to speed. It runs form a VFD so i am guessing its something to do wit that ?
What i need to do when its as cold as say 10degc is turn it on but have the Hz set low at say 25Hz, let the speed get up to that then turn it up more but maybe only to 35. and let it build up It takes a minute or so to get to full speed for the set Hz.
If i keep it running once at 50z for say 5 mins next time its fine from there on for that session..
I just used to put up with it but wit it but now it is getting annoying so want to solve the problem and all i can think of is it electrical and not liking the cold as summer time when its warmer and if 20degc its fine. .
Cheers for any advice
