What bed length are you after?

its only the gap piece of bed he is after for one .be as rare as hens teeth if there is one somewhere and even if available wont match the bed perfectly of another machine

If you do manage to acquire one it won't match your bed anyway unless you scrape the base in and then have the ways all ground together.

Correct. Never remove the gap unless you absolutely have to.

Even random parts from other machines I’ve had trouble fitting as spares. These machines were built individually, and fettled to fit.

I found mine on a Facebook group IIRC, there are a few knocking about.
