The original Audio Quattro
I've always wanted one of these. I'm not sure I could put up with the left hand drive for daily use.
And agricultural in comparison to the at the time, competing Scimitar.
I had a Mk1 Crapi 1600 & it was truly awful. Had it for about 15 months & that was 14 months too long. Had a Hillman Hunter estate after, that was a really good workhorse & towcar, dead slow, but just kept pulling.I had a MK1 Capri 1300, the Morris Marina I had before it was more sophisticated!
If I had to have another 80’s car it would be an Audi A4
Had several Hillman Hunters, including Hunter GT, 1725 cc engine with twin Strombergs…of them all, none were a match for the Cortina mk2…with 1600 engine…I had a Mk1 Crapi 1600 & it was truly awful. Youll have to post up some picsOne of the reasons I've kept my coupe quattro is because I think, once I can get the rust sorted, and presuming it runs, it would make a decent daily driver, I could take the TT off the road and sort some of the niggling issues that can't be done in a day, and if I need to work on it in winter I don't need to run one of the Vauxhalls. I love the proper ur-quattro, but they're more costly to run than the cq and there's not much difference (other than power) from where I sit.

if you let the video run it's the whole film in sectionsThat's the pair!
What a film, what a cast!
And put a kit in it ?My1984 Pontiac Fiero. A sweet ride that cost us less to insure than our VW beetle.
Not sure if it could handle the weight as the frame wasn't all steel. Mine was the first model, only offered with the four cylinder engine. The V6 came out a couple of years later, which my hunting buddy's girlfriend had in hers; it was a rocket ship in comparison. My only issue with the car was the callous I acquired when having to pivot my left hand on the door sill to exit, lol.And put a kit in it ?
V8 Kits
Our Fiero V-8 Engine Conversion Kits allow you to install a small block Chevy engine into any 1984 thru 1988 Pontiac Fiero. They allow you to retain all stock options, including a/c. This kit is...www.v8archie.us
That must be worth a fortune by now!I still have my late parents MG Maestro EFI. Dry stored all its life, if it went out in the rain father would dry it off when it got back in the garage. Only 47000 on the clock. Been more reliable than any German car I’ve had!
I’d like to add to it:- Aston Martin V8 Vantage, Vanden Plas Daimler Double Six H.E. , Jag XJS, to name but a few.
