Can anyone suggest a good anti bacterial cream for hands

I wear work gloves most of the time doing stuff outside, but gloves can make the hands sweat. I sometimes get `blister type` sores on my fingers. I feel sure most of us wear work gloves Can anyone recomment a good cream to prevent this issue?

Work gloves are designed to protect the hands. Many types of gloves do a good job of doing that.

While I appreciate your comment, we are up against the accelerants that are in many types of gloves.I only recently discovered It is well docuented online. So while we try to dodge the materials that can cause the issue, we may be compromising the protection we seek.

This is vry good guide to help you select glovees. Look up the chemical, tie that in the abrasion resistance etc required and pick your gloves

Most important thing to look for is break through time, Bigger the number the longer you can use the glove before breakthrough occurs

There's no perfect solution though. Working hands need more than good gloves alone, even if it's just to help with simple things like chap, cracked skin etc.

Must admit, I used to suffer a bit with sweat when working in hot and humid environments over seas….work gloves dont tend to breathe enough.

Yep same as that, the tig gloves or gardening style gloves dry my hands out?

Probably the chromium used in the tanning process, could be even worse if the gloves are Chinese made

Apparently we can develop sensitivity to oils over the years and after rebuilding tons of engines, I now get a "hot flush" if my hands are caked in oil. I now use a barrier cream (little dispenser in the corner of the shop) but I have to be careful, wear gloves and not to allow too much contact with oils - if any...

I used to service hot pressure washers & handled heating oil/diesel daily (gloves not common back then). Now if I get either on my hands I get a red itchy patch within a few minutes!

I agree. We put the effort in to identify what we feel is the appropriate gloves for the job, then the material causes skin issues.
