Bluetooth ear defenders.

I am.getting rid of the ear pods I use at work and as I have recently been using them with ear defenders I am looking at Bluetooth ear defenders. So all in one. Like these

Decent ear pods are same.proce if not more. Been through a good few sets and don't last in the engineering industry

Would I buy them again.
No, don't like them as feel really weighty compared to normal defenders.
And then had to bend and flex them quite heavily to fit nicely.

Would rather a decent set of 3m Peltor defenders and Bluetooth ear buds under.

I've had a pair of Protear am/fm radio - bluetooth and rechargeable for about 5 or 6 years and have been really happy with them, used mainly when i was strimming and tractor mowing. Would go 3-4 days on a charge. I wanted the radio option as i have used them a few times at motor racing events to cut out some of the noise but be able to tune the radio to the circuit radio commentary, not too bulky or heavy. Same as in the link ( no affiliation) can probably be found cheaper is you hunt around.

I have the same ones which i use at home. We've got a big garden so use a petrol mower, strimmer, vac for a fair while.

I've had them for 3 years or so, really good no problem other than they are a bit heavy and unless you open them out a bit, try to squash your head into a rugby ball over a period of time.

well i am stuck between cheap and the more expensive as with the ear pods i bought in the past the cheap didnt ;last very long and the better one i last bought lasted near 12 months. I wonder if its the same with these ear defenders.


And anther thing to mess things up here, a coincidence i think but the H&S chap was down today and seen i had ear pods in with my ear defenders on.

Now they are saying i cant wear the ear pods with ear defenders or even the type i am looking at, being the ear defenders with built in BT.

Reason is they can not control how loud the music is. even thought the ear defenders are upto the standards.

This is going over the top now with H&S.

That's what I do. Saves little time inbuilt, over simply lifting an earcup.
