How much is it. They don't list prices while closed but the shipping alone is 30 to 50 quid.I’ve come to the conclusion I need something similar myself but maybe a bit more oomph l was looking at this but it’s not in stock at the moment https://www.gundogforge.co.uk/

These are the belts I’ve ordered, I’ll report back on performanceIt'll do it, but it'll be slow. I started with a 1x30", and it did me proud. Do be prepared to spend a lot of money on decent belts - I ran down to 60 grit ceramic without any issues.
Bolt it down, you'll be grand.
I’ve been looking at those plans and decided that for a few times a year I’ll actually use the thing I can’t be bothered making one, this will be slow but perfectly adequate for my needsLooks vaguely similar to the ones on 'Forged in fire' on the telly, it's one like theirs I'd have.
There are plans on the interweb for making your own....
Now there’s an ideaSharpen the Freddie glove properly
There’s such a bewildering choice, which ones do I need?Anything above 400g tends to be a bit useless - these simply run too fast and end up scorching wood or overheating thin metal.
You'll also be shocked how quickly knife steel ruin a belt! Have a look here - they're a bit pricier, but cheap belts are a false economy. https://www.gfsknifesupplies.com/Grinders-Abrasives/grinding-belts-1x30
For the last year or so I’ve hardly spent any time in the play pen, so decided to treat myself to a new toy
