Milwaukee M12 Die Grinder

I have convinced myself I may need to put a die grinder on my Christmas list. Had in mind the Milwaukee M12 angled die grinder, mainly due to the fact I have a couple of other Milwaukee M12 tools.
Thinking some little cutting and grinding discs may come in useful, so looking for some advise on the correct mandrel, discs and where to get them from.

I use one for roloc disks, bought a cheap 6mm roloc adaptor off amazon.

I have one, good tool, but if using the carbide bit in a hole the bloody thing likes to catch/grab and go mad, not a problem I have with my straight air ones, it can be a real pain at times.
Used for anything else it is dead handy, used it today to clean rust and junk of a pivoting moffett bumper, used it the other day to grind out a groove in a large 40mm towbar bush so I could beat it out, both jobs it excelled at.

I say it to you a lot. I think their m12 stuff is pretty good but I wouldn’t touch their m18

Well my grease gun nearly made low earth orbit this morning.

Once again it refused to pump grease. POS considering the price tag. Should of bought the DeWalt

i posted the other day i was on the fence if i would use it , i got one anyway lol and have used the hell out of it , great to debur or derust a little item and not have to trapse about with extension leads etc

i use zoro and ebay for roloc discs , might need to be creative and search 50mm disc or such too

I use my m12 angled one loads, I have the m18 straight that thing is a beast dont use it as much as it is quite large and tiring to use for long periods

it varies shop around some places are cheaper for certain items than others

one tip i saw mentioned for these...blow /vac out the mesh grilles on them often as they can clog up

Thanks for the replies. With regards to cutting discs, I know 2" is recommended but can you use 3" discs?

You're better off getting the dedicated cutoff tool rather than using the die grinder for cutting/grinding, IMHO.

Good/useful tools are money well spent.

agree its more for sanding/cleaning /de rusting than cutting

Thanks, how power hungry are they ?
I know my 18v makita grinder really needs 5ah batteries or more.
Is the M12 stuff the same ?
