It does not matter. Mods often stop threads from reaching the" nasty" stage.

On another side of things today I witnessed two road workers come to blows as they were reopening the road.
Not sure why or what.
I know who was the aggressor though.
The bloke in charge it would seem. Lol

I stepped out of my car to get between them but they stopped before I reached them.
Strangest situation I have seen for a long time...

The mods rule. I may disagree with some of their calls, but I'm not making the decision and it's a thankless task, so.. . They're right. They've got more experience than me. This place is better than the rest, and that's in no small part due to the mods.

I don't always agree with the mods but I will either accept it and move on. (Or sulk for a while)
I do however support the mods we have even if most (if not all) have censured me or deleted my threads etc.

Moderators may not always be as un-biased as one might expect. Perhaps they all wear kilts. Perhaps all of them are morris dancers on the quiet. They may have their own agenda on some subjects/topics?

They may ignore insulting and threatening PMs sent out by members to others. Perhaps they have friends on the forum (and lean towards them), rather than taking a more appropriate line?

Who knows - apart from the moderators.

I missed the post mentioned by the OP, so have no comment on that. Just offering some food for thought on the matter. as a general addition - from a poster who generally offers truthful comments - particularly in response where some just throw out misleading or incorrect information.

That's called human nature. Being a referee, race director, admin, moderator amongst other tasks I am fully aware it's not easy to be neutral.
