Were you ordering workshop stuff at 14 then?

Actually it would of been 13, Basically as soon as I was of age to get a Solo card (Not even sure if thats even still a thing) I went from spending cash in crappy local stores to buying online.

I should tick 0% - I have everything - well almost. I would much rather buy quality used.

I think there were a fair few of us codgers tinkering at a similar young age, there was never much that got in the way of a project other than wimin, no such thing as the internet or "online"back then so we always used local suppliers.

Was just talking about this the other day, have quite vivid memories of hopping the bus to town then changing busses to go the CZ dealers for bits after school! The second bus was always full of girls from the convent school!

You really can't beat that feeling when you need a nut/bolt/hose/gasket paper/piece of wire/connector etc to finish a job and you have one "On the shelf"

Even if it takes a bit of finding it still feels like you have beaten the system.

Well yes BUT.......I most likely already have what I need on the shelf. My problem is "which" shelf. Lol

Just look at it as another round of Lucky Dip.

I bet that CZ was the best looked after CZ in the country. Please tell us that you managed to chat one of the girls to help you see if the parts fitted.

Tried getting stuff on line but wws dublin always sent wrong stuff because what I ordered turned out not to be in stock. I buy my consumables when I get gas and if I need small amount of nuts and bolts etc I get from local creamery.
