A key manual key duplicator copies the key you provide, garbage in gets you garbage out. The only way to cut a won key is by cutting to code.
Only if you know what you are doing, I use mine most of the time to take the bulk of the waste out before filing, or for impressioning locks, but i try to avoid using them to actually cut any customer keys.
Nope the cuts are angled and the angles dont see any significant wear, only the points wear, so a worn key still makes the correct height points when it is copied. I have had several severly worn keys copied and they are near identical to unused ones.
In theory those should work, but as usual for this sort of import, consider it a loosely assembled box of parts and you may need some effort to get it to work well.
That is not at all how it works, yes there are other ways to cut a worn key on a standard duplicator that work a lot of the time, but you can't just throw a worn key onto any key duplicator get a fresh non worn key out of it, you either have to measure the wear and adjust the source key calibration by a few thou and hope that it works for the customer or you cut it to code either with space and depth keys or by using a code cutting machine. The follower will just copy the wear.
Your key blank is nothing special, honestly I think you just need to try a different key cutter, try and go for dedicated locksmith shops vs something like timpsons (which are more often than not terrible) and tell them you want multiple copies as many do qty discounts.
