Clay pipe adaptors but 3 1/4" dia !

Digging a trench for electric cable to my garage came across a clay drain pipe its small only 2 1/4" I'd. 3 1/4 " od I need to connect onto this somehow it's only rainwater coming down it not a foul drain

I can't find any of the rubber adaptors ,to adapt it to pvc
Any ideas guys?

If the new can go over the 3 1/4" od, pack with plastic body filler (Bondo)

Presuming terracotta drainage clays, don't worry too much. A bag over the top or expanding foam to take up the slack if you like. They're only about a foot long and not sealed between each other. So long as the easiest route for water is through the hole in the middle.

It's salt glazed pipe Gareth , spigot and socket joints . No idea where it comes from only the general direction but it's obviously only a land drain or rainwater from somewhere

Do it right...measure both pipes and then buy the correct adapter surely?

Am assuming you won't be moving house any time soon....so doing it again will be on you!

Managed to get one locally at an industrial pipeline supplier
