Brick tinting
After I read your post, I found exactly that and thought, yes that looks similar.https://www.diy.com/departments/wie...l-215mm-w-102-5mm-h-65mm/5055013404876_BQ.prd
This sort of thing is what I would have bought.
You are right on the repoint. Scaffold is on the other stack though so thats a job for next year!its one brick the one top right should pop off easy enough, plus, that stack could do with a repoint![]()
It works, but depends on the face of the brick, old way i was shown was to chip away the face, cover with cement and grind the dust of that so it stuckBrick tinting
They dont currently match but I have wound myself up that they should after the old stack is rebuilt! Silly really! It's of no help but it looks identical in design and bricks to the one of our chimneys of a similar age. You could try markstone granite for reclaimed ones or keep an eye on local marketplace for someone shifting something similar.
If it's any consolation, I never even look at our wildly different chimneys here
Is that like vagazling?Brick tinting
Yes but Jewson will deliver free if you have an account! Handy when buying in bags of sand etcAfter I read your post, I found exactly that and thought, yes that looks similar.
Jewson have them too but b&q is cheaper!

I only noticed that crack when staring at that photo i took, but you are right, that stack needs some maintenance - that can be next summers job.
Similar?
Or just scrap it an put in a stainless flue. Bloody chimneys are a maintenance nightmare. The one you've pictured is cracked, the one I've got that looks similar needs repointing.
