Basically finished the engine install today. Sea trials tomorrow, we'll see how it al goes. So pics of the almost completed project.
Exhaust in, coolers in, hoses made but not fitted yet.
Opera houses for the steering and deck wash pumps in and connected. Again all hoses made but not connected, as space is a premium.
A closer up view of the steering and deck wash pump mounts, with the slider / adjustment supports.
Again a S/S bracket for the Hynautic engine control throttle slave operating the engine electronic throttle actuator.
Back side view of the exhaust, lagged. As soon as I completed constructing the exhaust the owner took it to get the thermal blankets made. Anyway sea trials tomorrow will see if I will be going home tomorrow, here's hoping

a little job today, just modifying an exhaust U clamp to so that I can stop the exhaust on my hanging too low.
and with a bit of reinforced rubber strap, it is held over the end of stud that is used to hold a metal strap that holds the petrol tank in place.

Did you have to dunk in brick acid to get galvanising off before welding it? Wondering as I'm going to need to do something to hold up a BIY (Bodge It Yerself) centre section for the Crusty Honda, and that looks a good solution...
no both the studding and the exhaust clamp were both zinc plated, an no preparation was done, as its on a stainless exhaust it will have a limited life anyway.
