For newer cars I think carwow seem to be offering better prices...for my Tucson they've offered £3k more than WBAC which is quite a bit more given that the WBAC is only going in one direction if/when I turn up with the car by the sounds of what others have said!

Used prices have gone up such a lot. My friend is being offered close to the price she paid new on her 10k 3 year old Yaris against new and nearly new cars (which have obviously gone up too).

Because many people are keeping cars longer due to not affording new ones and they don't want EV's even if they could afford them.
Even Mobility EV's have a ludicrous cash down payment.

I think peoples age comes into it as well, the older you get the less you care what others think of you, plus if the car works and is reliable, why change it?
I was always changing cars, the wife was even worse, my current car a discovery 3 has been my daily for 9 years.

Don't think I've really ever cared...not when it comes to "stuff".

I do however prefer people with a bit of depth to their character...nothing worse that scratching the surface and finding more surface!

Sold my L200 to them, about 18 months ago.

£9500, could have got another £1k selling privately but honestly couldn't be bothered. I also sold the Truckman top for £800

Nothing fraudulent or difficult about it, rather a nice chap and we had a cup of tea and discussed bikes, I'd put mine in the back to get home

i have seen rottens including my unclès
