OSB or Ply for a small "roof"?

I need to fit a new hinged "roof" to the generator shed I built about 10 years ago, I originally used a piece of OSB I had lying around, but the felt has worn through on the edges and the OSB is starting to delaminate so looking to replace it, but what's the best wood to use, OSB3 or Ply which is about 25% dearer.

I vote for OSB, lasts longer in my shed roof experience, so the saving is a bonus. (I've tried a couple of grades of ply). I can recommend the bitumen screwfix sell for this sort of work.

Use some OSB as a base, then glassfibre it? It should last for donkeys years then!

hasnt done too bad for 10 years and poor maintenance by the owner otherwise the ends might not have been damaged and could have lasted much longer

so just do the same again

It was built as a "flat pack" at home where all my wood butchery tools are then assembled at the stable, I've not done any fibreglass work since I was at school in the 70's so will go with felt again.

Unfortunately, due to the layout of the stables it had to go on the main thoroughfare to the barn at the back and some folks have no respect for property so it's got knocked about over the years

There's a grill on each side so fresh air in one and exhaust out the other

I recently built a log store of similar proportions and roofed it with some leftover P5 chipboard flooring. Its water resistant and cheap.

OSB, it's less likely to warp than ply
