Power supply for a welder

Hi everyone pursuing the goal of the rally car.
I have a designated place to work on it
Hopefully I'm not getting boring since it's been years we are talking about thread after thread, starting the project aborting the project etc
So we have a piece of land in the woods and a small shed with no mains power.
It has a 6kW solar power source, I'm scared about damaging the inverter.
But I'm wondering if a generator friendly 150A mig welder can run out of an inverter power generator

I'm not sure I'd want to try running an inverter mig welder off an inverter generator.
I think it's possible (& it might be ok).... but I'd be concerned about the inverter in the little genset going pop after a while.
I think (in your position & if budget was tight).... I'd be tempted to go for a frame-mounted (with a wheel/handle kit if having to move it solo) Honda petrol around 6kva. If doing lots of hours, then an extra £400 can get you an lpg conversion, to get you a fuel cost more like red diesel (but without the machine cost & lighter as well).
Someone like Stephill Generators do the kit and options to put together something that might be right for you maybe.

Inverters often have a max motor rating in their specs, so that the output stacks don't overload with the inrush current on startup.
It used to be that a 3kw inverter had a limit of about 1hp for1ph motors.
I'd be concerned zbout the current spikes on strike-up overstressing an inverters gubbins.
At the very least, I'd want to check the manual on the solar inverter carefully - if there's a battery store big enough then the power to strike up may be there - but I'd be cautious

The welder I'm thinking to use has 0.9kW consumption at 30A output current which would be most likely the current I'd use for bodywork.
Any bigger component which will need welding will be done at home or at work (where I have free access to 400A mig and Tig welders)
Surely I'll never have enough courage to connect a welder to the solar panels because of the cost of the fronius inverter installed

If you can tap into your solar battery bank somewhere between 12-36v then you could just connect a battery powered mig directly to that?

You can be pretty sure that even if it works, if anything ever goes wrong with the solar installation later on, you'll get the blame :0
