Recommended Wired burglar alarm systems

I put a Honeywell wired system in the workshop that is getting jiggered! I was less than impressed with the quality originally so was wondering if anyone with experience can recommend a manfacturer that makes a solid product.
I don't really want anything fancy, don't need it to talk to alexa (not that I've got one of those possesed contraptions anyway!) or anything. And am thinking hardwired.
As rubbish as the Honeywell siren and controller were, their dualtech movement sensors have proved A1, never had a false alarm.
Also thinking of putting a system in the house.
Any thoughts?

I have a Yale wireless system in the workshop and think it's ok. I can't be in the building when the siren goes off!

It can be connected to a phone line so it will call you if the alarm is triggered but it's not compulsory. I haven't yet found a way to connect it to the wifi but I expect it may be possible.

the guy who burgled my house didnt think that a brick through the kitchen window dog in house burglar alarm and cameras . whipped the video a camera a bit of cash other odds and sods and off . cameras cant see through a sas mask best systemis conected to your phone and if u are quick and near by catch em in the act. just get tooled up ready before you encounter them

Just checked what mine is as it's been in about 6 or 7 years with zero problems, it's a Honeywell accenta G4 so no good for you.

Thanks for looking, I think yours is a higher end model than mine. My control panel still does it's job but won't respond to programming now. The bell box suffered from water ingress, but the threre's not much to keep it out!!

i had a Honeywell accenta G4 at the last house very good unit never had faults only thing i done was to replace the pirs after 10 years more so as they yellowed but there cheap anyway £10 a pop and had 3 sence before triggering
only time was a problem was the out side box that the battery backup in the outside box failed caused a couple alarms googled it cheaked the battery and replaced was ok after that

We have a Texecom system. Chosen by the electrician, but we've had it altered and extended. Can be as basic or convoluted as you wish. Ours covers outside buildings, proximity sensors, remote monitoring, set by iphone etc.
Deffo recommend.

Texecom is decent, and they are a lot easier to deal with than many others if you aren't a registered installer.

I used to install security systems and mostly used Menvier control panels and Elmdene siren units. Some of the systems are over 25 years old and still working well.

I've been eyeing up the Texacom stuff, seems to be readily available too.

I wired a PIR sensor and siren straight to a home automation device. It was supposed to be a temporary solution but it's worked just fine so I've left it

I have Texacom gear (made in the UK) and it is mostly good quality and as mentioned above it can be as simple or as complicated as you like. Bits are readily available and not eye watering.

I've also got the same, no issues for me.

If it helps I have the version where the keypad is remote to the controller.
