And he has ridden something like 8000 miles on the beast too. Rode it to the Isle of Man a couple of years ago.Don't think you can get much bigger than Millard's V twin
Project Hercules, as mentioned in the forum, is a 2.7 litre single.Don't think you can get much bigger than Millard's V twin
90hp from 1800cc - quite the underachiever!
Absolutely - just highlights quite how "extreme" the engine is, to meTo be fair BMW manage over 200bhp in a 1litre engine in their S1000rr (probably 220bhp or more in the fancy variants)
The big Twins are designed as refined plodders really.
Is that " AS refined plodders " or " FOR refined plodders" ?To be fair BMW manage over 200bhp in a 1litre engine in their S1000rr (probably 220bhp or more in the fancy variants)

you buy on horse power ,,, you ride on torque .90hp from 1800cc - quite the underachiever!
Just for you, Graham -appreciate the recommendation!I love Olhao. If you've not found it, the Sete Estrelhas (seven stars) bar is great. A typical old Portuguese bar with dark decor and barrel-vaulted ceilings.
In Alexandro Herculano Street just off the front, near the eastern end of the market.
Me either look really cool. But would they not become opaque with spraying oil while running? Like to see a video of it running.ive never seen the clear cam covers
€8 for 5 litres! And while the bar service was particularly cheap at around £3.70 for a pint, large vinho tinto and a bottle of water, the takeout prices are stupendous!

There was one of those in my mates garage for MOT yesterday. Quite a trick looking beast, with a short titanium open 'silencer' on it. When it was fired up and left idling for a minute I put my hand over the exhaust, there was hardly anything coming out, and a sort of strangled mechanical rustling sound, whereas I expected a decent flow of hot air.To be fair BMW manage over 200bhp in a 1litre engine in their S1000rr (probably 220bhp or more in the fancy variants)
