Gmail blocking incoming mail.

I used to use Gmail on my Android Phone and Tablet.
But I got fed up after deleting messages the deleted messages kept reappearing.
I couldn't find a solution on the 'Net, so I switched to Bluemail and it works really well

I've come across this problem now trying to reply to somebody that emailed me from a Gmail account.
I have added an SPF record, but running the checker MetalMonkey posted I get the error below. Do I need to merge the records into one file then? If so what should it look like - can I have multiple lines on one TXT record? The mailforwards record was already present when I started and I presume I still need this?

Yes - it should be a single line, with the ~all as the final catchall

Ummm... maybe... a common mistake with SPF records is to make them too specific or too complex. I'm not familiar with the %{i} syntax but I would query whether you need an "exists" clause at all.

Checking it with easydmarc's syntax checker shows it is valid, but only you will know if the result is what you're looking for: https://easydmarc.com/tools/spf-record-raw-check-validate

If I were you I'd use their generator tool (available at the topish of the same page) and see what that gives you.
Do be sure to set "Policy"="Fail" (aka "strict") otherwise gmail and many other providers will reject your emails.
