An event from my old welding teacher, unfortunately can't make it as I'm working.

Richard Elliot, Metal Technician at Chelsea College of Art & Design has been working collaboratively with Francis Thorburn to create an astounding man powered vehicle titled “Intransit”. The machine will feature in the Alternative Vehicle Parade at Arnold Circus in Tower Hamlets this weekend. Boundary Estate, Tower Hamlets, London E2.

Sunday 18th July, 1pm-5pm, 2010.
Cycle ride and alternative vehicle parade at 4pm

At least there are loads of recharging points for human powered vehicles, The Crown, King's Arms, The Bull and so on and when your human won't hold its charge any longer you can go to the nearest Job Centre for a new one.
