Granted its a bit soon for much of a review but I used half a strip and clean wheel an 80 grit and a 120 grit this morning cleaning up a car chassis for welding and they perfermed just about the same as the Abracs abrasives I was using previously, I have never used any of the 3M products so can't compare it to those but for the money I can't see any problems with it, especially as a bit of a starter set.

Today I acquired...
...a Singer 29K53 Boot Patcher, still on a treadle but with a motor/clutch and a couple of spare motor/clutch units. Finally found one without slop or worn gears. Happy!!

Parma was an American company - although there was a "George" involved somewhere in the UK importing I think - from my memories of devouring Model Cars magazine when it came out every two months . . .
When 1/10 circuit racing started, I ran a Parma Greenwood Corvette shell on my self-built car, then on a Bolink (Eliminatior) chassis. That or a TMS (I think) Jaguar XJ Group C shell in Silk Cut colours - think Parma did the stickers.

I had a PB circuit car for a while (can't remember the name of it) and raced at WLRC in Hillingdon but ended up racing the nationals in touring cars.

I got fed up of emptying half the tools out my tool chest to take when I go racing or to trackdays, so I just got this.
That just leaves the screwdrivers, pliers, side snips, wire strippers, saw, files, drill, tap and dies etc to take from the main chest

Been working under cars lately and figured I needed to add to my milwaukee collection 
I have already used the belt grinder today and absolutely love the thing, it is going to get way more use than I initially thought it would. I suspect it's going to be really nice for feild sharpening tungstens as well (with a finer grit belt of course).

This found it's way into the workshop today via face-palm marketfarce... Needs a service and a anti-vibe mount but fires up first pull even after sitting for a year or so.

Yesterday I acquired..
Two pots of Marmite, a rare delicacy in France, an old book on ship construction using some new process called 'welding', whatever that is, thanks @nickk , and the dog found me a baby hedgehog in the garden.
Today, I dropped off 590 kilos of boat batteries at the not so local scrappies, came away with a nice cheque, but spotted, an old mini lathe, enquired €10, yes I'll take that please.
