I have a well used pallet stacker that always comes in handy. It appears to have had a hard life from the previous owners and the brackets holding the rear castors are canted out at a bit of an angle. I would like to get these straightened but I don't have gas. My arc welding isn't too bad. Can someone suggest an easy way to get these straightened without cutting them off? I have considered grinding a vee, bending, then welding possibly with some reinforcement.

take the casters off ,,, set a block of wood under the frame ,,, hit the bent bit with a fbh .... { fekin big hammer}

it got bent without heat , it will straighten without heat.
You would be wise to have someone with a powerfully developed lower chest stand on the end of the forks at the same time though.

It's 10mm thick. Reckon I'd have to beat the ... Out of it to straighten it. How about get it as hot as I can with propane before hand? Will it make it any easier?

it will cool faster than you can heat it with propane ,,, not worth running a bead of weld across either ,,, if you cant hit it hard enough get someone bigger to swing the hammer ,,,, lol
messing aside , theres a lot of energy in a well swung sledge hammer.

As for OP - sound advice above. “Fire and violence” is my input. In the absence of fire then more violence.
Think I’d go for wheels off and a couple of good blocks of steel either side of the vertical bit of T then **** it.
Bit of bracing wouldn’t hurt where it seems to have been weak before.

Leverage? Remove the castors and bolt a long bar / box / angle in their place. Wedge the tip of the forks under something substantial ( car, house, big mate..), at the other end bounce on the end of new bar until the plate is where you want it? Nothing is impossible with enough leverage.
Remove castors, FBH (fairly big hammer )
Remove castors, find a thick spacer washers, grind the washer to a taper (angle grinder) so the plate stays bent but the castor shaft runs vertical?
Everything starts with "remove the castors" and ends with "then weld up a reinforcing brace to stop it happening again"
Looking at the existing bracing, the bend is where the bracing ends, make sure the new bracing supports the plate past the section where the castors mount.
