If the grinding attachment was used a lot & the crud all over it is from the grinder..... I would expect it to be knackered.

Hi thanks for replying quickly. Do you have any leads as to the 1 in the UK or with your friend in Cyprus (if I got that correct). Any help would be good. I missed getting a very good example a few years ago, it was for sale through a machinery place in the Midlands but they would not pack for shipping. By the time I found a company to box it it was sold. However I would like one. Thank you, regards David

Did you hear back from your friend about this lathe as to who had it for sale. I know it's been a while but I am still interested. The email for the one in Derby I did try to by but the shop owner was not interested in assisting with the complications to send here to new Zealand. It looked to be a very well kept machine though. My friend in Cyprus was not able to confirm what happened to it, I forgot to ask him again when I saw him last summer. I will try again.

He just got back to me, last twice he was at sellers premises, it was not there, likely sold or scrap. He will confirm though says seller is not a good communicator.
Thanks for helping, hopefully it turns out to be good news , at least as far as its no scrapped. I would like one though, I have a specific need for such a machine. Have you spent your life welding and creating stuff that led you to this forum?
