Bed Liner for car floors?.

Hello all, on with stripping the inside of the Golf and will need to coat the floor with something hard wearing.

I'm probably not going to have any sound deadening back in, carpet is debatable!.

Would Bed Liner be a good idea for the inside floor?. If so any recommendations for a decent make?.

I'd like to brush/ roller it on really.

Be careful. I painted the floor of my rally car. Wet feet slipping was a big issue, getting in and out and transferring to the pedals. I put ally chequer plate in the footwells in the end.

Traction Slip Resistant Additive - U-Pol

Slip resistant additive. It can be added directly into RAPTOR Tough and Tintable Protective Coating bottles prior to spraying.

Is used the usual raptor with schutz gun. It goes on easily, got it perfect first go even with my mediocre spray skills. The only lesson I learnt is that it's best to buy more than you need. First time I ran out and had to finish part of the floor another day, the joint stood out.

Yes, it’s one way of obtaining different textures, and the only way to apply without air fed mask as it is a two pack product. all the info is available on upholstery website.

Raptor or any other version of this isnt necessarily the grippiest in the world. It might be worth you painting the footwell with 3M 7888 grip paint. Not cheap but we use it on helicopters and it's pretty good stuff.
