Which floor anchors?

Iv had it a few years now and never used it..but now I want to, my issue is I have limited space so wherever I mount it I need to be able to remove it when not in use.

My garage floor is concrete but not sure what the best fixings to use would be that can be reused tome and time again, but also not fill with crack if I leave them open etc, could do with some sort of slim line fixing so.i don't fall over them etc.

Any ideas?

I used Rawbolts on a concrete slab outside for mine.
If I was to mount it in the garage then I'd use an angle grinder with suitable cutting disc to cut a recess in the concrete then fit the Rawbolts so that a piece of steel, or even wood, could then be used to cover the recess when bender not in situ

hard to do nealy anything you put in the floor sticking up is a trip problem
drill a hole and resin a rawbolt type in there might be your best bet but its lightly to fill with carp when ever you use it

I would go the extra mile and chop off the square flange, concrete a square tube into the floor that will receive it and blank it off when not in use. Most tubes inside a tube fits are readily available.

Like the plate idea but leaves a trip hazard as said, might look into the tube in a tube idea as I can make it sit flush with the floor.

Slotted head grub screw made from threaded rod, slot to suit 2p coin, when not in use.

best idea ive seen and simple enough to do rawlbolts are a one fix job and dont like been removed and refitted

I wonder if with a bit of careful cutting/grinding of the concrete floor.... if you could neatly sink the whole mounting plate into the floor so it was flush when whatever was mounted.... wasn't mounted?

That’s what i will do when I get round to making some plates.

@8ob idea is good we used it on a body puller set up, 100mm box that dropped in with a flat 20swg plate welded on as closer, flush with floor.
Easy to fit other things not having to make special plates.

I have plans for a new concrete floor, how would the 100mm box idea do while the concrete is being power throweld (is that the correct term?)
Thinking of several for a polisher grinder, bar bender, a vice, (and...?) and some parking places.
I have similar questions for a 3,5 t fourpost (16x M14) but since those will be permanent fixed I think the easiest would be to just use chemical anchors afterwards?

Set the top of the box 5mm below finished floor level and cap it with polystyrene and duct tape. Mark where it is and expose it when the concrete has set. Buy a plastic cap for the tube to stop dirt going in (https://www.accu.co.uk/square-ribbed-inserts/584913-HSRIE-100-22-2-4-LDPE-BL).

Make sure the lower end of the tube is nicely blocked. 100mm is good as you can poke a hoover down it to retrieve your USB stick with £2M of bitcoin on it.

I looked at this a while ago...the idea I had was to resin fix a threaded rod with a threaded sleeve on the end...all fitted floor flush.

The motivation was the same...bolt down my tools when in use but not have a trip hazard when not in use...small garage!

We put a 300mm x 3mm plate on the bottom of the box, what @Argoshield said is good for top finish
