Fluid transfer pump recommendations

Im going to have to check and possibly top up the disco transfer box. Has anyone sourced a decent transfer pump with a length of tubing that will fit a 5l container and pump 75w90 oil. There are various on ebay but Id like a tried and tested one that isnt going to fall apart after the first use or leak nore than the transfer box

I use a Lidl one for draining small engines (they often don’t have a sump bung) and that’s lasted a lot longer than I thought it would.

12v. Called ‘Powerspeed’ or ‘Overspeed’ or something.

I bought a spare but have not needed it yet. They are still about in Lidl I think as they were back again a week or so ago.

Probably on eBay as well I’d think.

If you want manual and spendy, the sealey ones are good. They look like an old stirup pump with a hose on

I have one of those Lidl pumps too had it about 2 years and been really handy not let me down yet !

This uses ep90 so thicker, but the volume is small.

I used one of those big syringes that are sold for oil transfer.

One of those cheap garden hand pump pressure sprayers work really well. I think mine was a fiver from B&Q. I cut off the spray nozzle and put a piece of pipe over the end.

Pump it up and pressurise it, cable tie trigger down and leave it work. Diff the diffs and transfer box on my 110 quite happily. Only died when said 110 drove over it...

Ive got one of those . And the oil stains onnthe block paving from using it. I think the seal has died

Same here, mines about 20yrs old and all I use for gearbox, transfer box and diff oils

Tried the syringe jobbies, didn't last so back to my trusty garden sprayer

I took the spraying bit off along with the trigger assembly, just the pipe straight into what I'm filling

I have one of those Lidl pumps too had it about 2 years and been really handy not let me down yet !

They have a fuse inside the case which can blow - makes you think the whole pump is kaput when it's just the fuse.
Mine went along with the switch, so bypassed both and its worked well since.
(I do make sure not to run it too long or get too warm)
