Actually got 4 Honeywell ones, but one someone has drilled through the dome and cracked the lens. The big one is a Samsung PTZ, but missing the dome and I assume missing a base with another circuit board in, it just has a big weird 22 way connector underneath, probably a bit useless like this. Hopefully I can set something up with the 3 good Honeywell ones and a Raspberry Pi.

I'm finally replacing my old shop compressor, since its tank was getting very rusty inside after 35 years. I just bought this one today. I managed to trundle it out of my truck and into the shop by myself, with a little assistance from my roll-around engine hoist. This model has a higher output and longer duty cycle than my old shop compressor, and it's about the largest one that I could afford and that I could squeeze into my already-crowded little shop. The tank has a MAWP rating of 175 psi, and I think the cutout switch is probably set at about 155 psi (I haven't powered it up yet). It didn't come with a pressure regulator for the output, so I've ordered a regulator and filter for it, which should be here in a few days. They had 3/8" NPT regulators and filter units in the store, but for better flow I wanted to bump them up to 1/2" NPT connections and install a new Goodyear 1/2" supply hose between the compressor and my existing ceiling-mounted hose reel. I already had a couple of heavy-duty swivel feet for levelling the compressor, but I had to order one additional foot. While I'm waiting for that stuff, I need to figure out how to route the supply hose over to the hose reel. I also have a coalescing filter unit somewhere that I might use.

My old shop compressor was on wheels, but I already have two small portable compressors that are in good working order, so this one is going to stay right where it is.

Amazing how many times you knee either to do something, or in passing, when you are actively trying to avoid doing so . . .

Ended up buying five (£1.50) decent thick kneeling pads & Evo-stick gluing four on one side of some tread plate and one on the other side .

Tying a strong nylon pull cord loop to the edge of the plate so it can be replaced as needed , having that five or so inch thick soft step under my knees has bee marvelous , even more so now I have a total left knee replacement joint .

I also got one of the pop together plastic garden ing stools that when inverted become a kneeler with push up arms often pop two unglued thick semi solid foam kneeling pads on the kneeling part nowadays .

They seem to vary in price alot, with the state of the shade and lack of bulb holder I think it would be a fair bit less.
I'll fix it up though, and probably use it rather than sell it.

Spotted this, made an offer and got it for £26. There is still one left BTW, they are £120 odd new but discontinued.

Hell of a week.
Got a fairly new Fronius TPS320i(castolin XuperArc3200), Remote Unit, Pulse Controller for good old MW Machines and a lot of CuSi and CuAl filler this week.

I've currently got a hacked up kneeling pad in the knee pad pockets of an old pair of work trousers for the moments I forget - the lump of foam at each knee reminds me most of the time. As a mostly office based bod, I don't get issued with the actual knee pads, although I seem to have confused the system for a good number of years to continue getting the decent work trousers with useful pockets and material thick enough not to see through, unlike the "office" trousers.

I used to love Easter holiday hires , charge a day and it's covered & insured till returned , better than filling the workshop with off hires and some git breaking in & helping themselves to a bulging at the seams hire fleet .

Won an eBay auction , well I've actually placed an offer not a bid

the seller accepted so I've actually bought this "faulty" Metabo WEA 24-230 MVT for 50 euros . Pretty confident by looking at the conditions that the only fault is the broken plug. I already have Metabo tools and auxiliary handles are simply impossible to clean at the point to look new . This one looks little bit dirty but the overall plastic and gear housing conditions make me think that it has worked for very little time prior somewhat happened to the plug . It features ,soft start,anti restart protection,electronic safety clutch, overload protection,antivibe handles, autobalancer, four positions swivel main handle. I have a protective guard might fit , and i might have to buy a quick release nut as the original one has been either lost or taken off the grinder. Always wanted one of those but 350 euros for a grinder was really too much. I'm still hunting for deals
