The Richa Infinity 2 in Titanium. I was using a Weiss Onyx Evo but took it back today because it had an inherent defect with the sleeves.
had a job to find a jacket that was not too bright in colour.
The Scott Dualraid Jacket I recently bought had what I thought were chest pockets. They are for armour.I had a job to find one that wasn't black, it limited my choices enormously! The Weiss attracted me because it was blue but sadly every time I put it on, the sleeves had a prolapse.Factory tells me that they have identified the problem and nobody else has ever mentioned it. I did try some other Weiss jackets whilst there but they didn't seem any different in that respect. The other thing I noticed is that the designs are all similar, regardless of brand. I wanted breast pockets but apparently the current fashion is zips for "air vents" rather than pockets.
I hate the normal low front pockets, as anything you put in them becomes bunched up in your lap when you're riding. I've not seen a jacket with decent size chest pockets anywhere.I had a job to find one that wasn't black, it limited my choices enormously! Mine is a XXXL
I'm in the market for a new one myself.
This is something that astonished me... I am normal build with 38" chest, 32" waist yet I could only get into a 2XL. I asked the metal inflicted sales girlie what happens when a porker comes in for a jacket? "Oh we go up to 12XL" if need be.![]()
Fowlers in Bristol are running a 20% off sale. Makes you wonder what the markup is, if they can still make a worthwhile profit.
I'll definitely want to try it on if I buy one, Bristol's 200 miles away....
....so I could be there before breakfast.![]()
