where do i dispose of old mini gas bottles???

you don't you use them for flue pipe's for gas bottle stoves! (i'm presuming disposable bottles)

I've seen them used on model-makers websites. They should of course be tested - regularly in my view.

probs at a low pressure with a wick and some meths to run it on . a donkey engine

I make Christmas tree stands out of them. Or you could take them to the local tip. They will have a skip for metals.

Normally once they're totally done the valve will rattle as there's no pressure keeping it shut. I've found the local tip try not to take them but once I've shown they're totally empty like above they tend to let it go.

I normally hacksaw them in half (when you know they are empty) and take them to my local tip

I like them as a source of steel tube. Hack them in half and stick in the scrap pile to weigh in when you have enough.
