I finally built one of these stoves at home,its impossible to do any foreign jobs where i work so im not exactly kitted out...but i got it done.
Despite catching this rocket stove fever, i wouldn't want to do it in the round again.

yeah squares 4" is much better to use

Rocket Stove

I made my first rocket stove today. Dead easy to make and a great project for welders of all experience. I'll give it a test run later and post more pics.

instead of using angle iron just use a round ring instead it will still do the same thing yet be less weight

Ah its just there in case i wanted to run a bit of ducting out of the shed as a chimney,ive actually cooked on the thing and it works great, but despite its largish size for a rocket stove,
Ive drawn up something bigger with doors.
