Yes indeed, I got my foundation licence on November last year. I am hoping to pass the next exam which will allow me more power and a larger part of the band plan

Fitted a full set of brake pads on a friend's Merc this morning, he paid me £60

Got my China diesel heater properly installed during the day.

Just on way home from Screwfix spent the £60 already on draught brushes for my garage roller shutter and side door. Going for a Pizza on way home too

Levitated the little Ashtray so I can crawl around/under it doing the brake pipes and other jobs in readiness for a ticket, the perfect weekend for a 58yr old...

So you prefer modern (c)rap then? The reason that older people prefer music is that their minds open and expand as they get older, with no peers to demand adherence to the latest tuneless and incomprehensible output. Then they turn to timeless classics that never grow old.

Went to B n Q this morning with ‘er-indoors’ for some white gloss….Spent the rest of the morning finishing the skirting boards in the entrance hall…
All done, looking pretty again…Just need to finish of with some silicone on the bottom where they meet the floor….
My tea is sorted, pizza, topped with chicken/ham/prawns and anchovies and more cheese….beers are chilling in the fridge ready for a movie later on tonight on Rakuten Tv….
Its been a good day….just as well coz tomorrow got to drive to Meadowhall to meet grandkids…

Bloody waste of a day.
60hr's last week of actual work, lots of driving, crappy weather, awkward jobs flooded yards on my back, still not 100% after COVID, grouchy.
So today I've crashed on the sofa dreaming of my freedom come the end of the month, mentally preparing for a big job (back self employed) starting in April.
And resting for next week on call.
