The hypertension, high blood pressure club ?

Since they have taken me off the BP medication my blood pressure has actually dropped! I am now a steady reading of 130/88 for the last 4 days. The BP meds however caused me to have severe blisters and infection. It just shows sometimes the medical profession can get things slightly wrong. The nurse even said she could not believe the doctor missed it as it is a well documented side effect! It has taken five weeks for me to start recovering.

I had some really weird swelling the other night, odema, in my manhood area, didn't know what the hell to do was considering a&e or ambulance, decided to have another beer and go to bed.

Had my yearly scan this week and blood tests today including one for my PSA after my bladder and prostate removal 7 years ago, Consultant has noticed a slight rise of 0.2 ng/ml in the last year. Sometimes in rare cases the Prostate can start growing back again after full surgical removal.

No idea, since I've been on my new pills I feel fine.

Must buy a bp monitor.

Wasn't bp related, think I was sat funny ? Honestly no idea, it doubled in width, I was F###ing shocked.

No pain, was just very, very strange, and worrying.

Well the doctor put me on 50mg losarton for 2 week, so it seems everytime i go they have doubled it, my bp has been 185 plus for weeks but now on 50mgit hit 218/115 sat down relaxing i had a blood test on thursday and decided to stop it as i am convinced it is not working so friday morning i woke up and took 5mg ramipril by 10pm my bp was 151/84 @ 56 bpm i cannot wait to see the doctor on tuesday.

I can attest to that with steroids cetainly. Prednisolone is the panacea for joint issues. but loosing calcium (teeth, bones) and a detached bicep later I'm off them and coping so-so.
Still takes my mind of my 'dicky ticker'...'Allo!..Allo!' Pacemaker due on 29th bionic then. Welding? Change to a knitting forum? Brass rubbing? Carpentry? Zeppelin repairs?

My medication seems fairly balanced but with the enormous amount of coffee I drink, I occassional get lightheaded. My pulse is in the 40's normally.
Today.... I have been mostly having ST elevation and VPB trigeminy according to my diy ECG.

My doctor's has me booked in sometime next month for a pressure test. Been chasing me for months, so finally gave in & agreed to next month. They'll be off my back for a while then, once they realise it's spot bollock.
