yes Parn barking mats got me thinking also along them lines will need to dig out a nozzle

I went looking for the outside diameter dimension of a Harris nozzle so he could measure the hole and see if one would fit.

For something so common, the dimension seems impossible to find - chapter and verse about the inside of the nozzle but nothing on the size.

10 points, the later added photos, gave me doubts.

Wow those Neway cutters are a result if the fleebay is anything to go by, all be them being a bit to specialized for my toolbox lol there looks to be a set from reaserch. Was neway part of sykes picavant as thats on the box?

Many do when beveling thick material.
For example, if your plasma can cut 3/4" thick plate, beveling is a much longer cut (x1.414 for 45 degrees) is now a 1.06" thick cut, so out comes the Oxy torch.

My Plasma only goes to 16mm!!

Thats the gas just about getting started

I used to do oxy propane cutting, until I got my plasma.

Haven't cut anything thicker than 10mm for years.

Yeah, cuts 19mm, severance at 22mm, but a bit rough.

If I remember right

..And if you need to cut & chamfer some plate out and about (like at the dock)...oxy doesn't need electricity nor compressed air.
