Buzzing table lamp

The wife bought a lamp the other month from the range. I bought her a smart bulb from amazon to use in it. Now I've retired I'm wearing my hearing aids most of the time and the other day I heard a buzzing sound and eventually I realised it was coming from the lamp. I assumed it would be the smart bulb, but for some reason I unscrewed the bulb and the buzzing continued anyone know what the likely cause is? It's not a crackle like a short circuit, but I'm not inclined to use it. There's not a snowballs chance in hell she's still got the receipt, but if it's dangerous I feel I ought to warn the shop

It just has an on off switch inline on the power cable

They're new fancy bluetooth ones, but it occurred to me after I posted this that it might be something to do with my hearing aids, I'll check when I get back home

Nope hearing aids out it's still buzzing. I've attached a photo of the lamp it's nothing special.

Might be picking up on something else that's a bit "odd" with the electric supply. You could try flipping all the breakers except that one and unplugging everything else on that circuit and seeing if it changes

Have you tried an old fashioned stupid bulb in it?

Had a light fitting with an annoying buzz, suspected the led bulb but tightening the wiring 'chocolate block' connectors cured it.
