Internal circlip grooving tools

Where did you find that. It was the one thing I really struggled with while making the secret present for @Onoff recently.

I since got some stainless circlips as per the originals and they're slightly looser than the black ones but still apparently 25mm.

Not when you add the inserts etc. It ramps the price up.

Most circlips I use are 1.1mm wide.
Hence I've got the sandvik inserts in the usual
sizes

If you can't get the right sizes then
they're useless

I have a boring tool I picked up somewhere that has a cross drilled hole in the end that takes any round tooling up to 4mm. By tightening a nut on the other end it clamps the tool. I use broken hss drill bits to make tools for it & I've used it for things like circlip grooves.
