Pm your address and I'll send you some stikky rubbber/stuff it'll work a treatGot a bracket made up to hold the mister/tank etc and routed the pipe through the energy chain, through the column and out the back to the valve.
Still need to put a bit of thick neoprene between the tank and the bracket but need to find some first
Also had to swap out the knockoff Loc-Line and put some of the real stuff in as even at the short length of the knockoff stuff it couldn't hold its shape, the real Loc-Line is double the length and no problem.

I found another piece of steel from an old shaft which turned a lot nicer.

2.5mm pitch, could it be 10tpi 3/8"?I was a bit skeptical about what thread it was as it didn't correspond to any I could find, OD of 9.2mm and a pitch of 2.5mm.
Ive seen it all now carbon fibre knitting needles! excellent!Made wifey a set of 8mm "racing needles".
These are carbon fibre knitting needles. She use this size to knit dog blankets for Battersea (she's done hundreds) but the commercial aluminium ones tend to shed their colour and then she ends up with black fingers.
She has 4mm carbon fibre needles but 8 mm don't seem to be available. So I bought a length of 8 X 6 carbon fibre tube and machined the ends from stainless steel.

They are incredibly light, hence the "racing needles" as wifey calls them.Ive seen it all now carbon fibre knitting needles! excellent!

No it is 2.5 not 2.54. It's for the metric version though probably based on 3/8 diameter blanks.,

Nice place, nice gates / railings.Blacksmithing, finally hung the rest of these fine gates,am very pleased with the results, and I think suit the house and landscape, lots of riveting and discreet welds.
The small gate will be complemented with dry stone walling extending to the posts.

Laser welding?Thin wall tubing day. Start of a prototype product that I will not elaborate on. Biggest tube has an id of 14.1mm. The smallest 7mm. All are 50mm long.
Did I mention the wall thickness?
0,03mm
Now I need to figure out the welding…
