I wondered if anyone has tried this one, your thoughts or what other similar product have you had success with ?

Apparently only active for 12 months? I can’t say I fancy removing the headlining ever twelve months to re applicate

I find it does 2 years ,, when I do box sections like sills etc I leave the holes I use to put the stuff in alone and put a rubber grommet in , then ecvery second mot its just a half hour job to pull the bungs and squirt the areas with the long lance ,,, last thing I did like that was an Aston DB7 , basically a Jag with a body kit ,,, so the guy wont mind a bit of extra time every couple of years ,, lots of landrovers come back after the test for a spray over and it stops them dissolving before the next test .. small price to pay really ,,,, headlinings Ive never done , but then again its seldom you see a roof rusting through from the inside either .

I was genuinely contemplating using cheap vegetable oil to do the inside of my garden frame I made from this stack of 25mm box I have here:

I used wire rope lube - think it was Rocal - - to coat my lathes and milling machines. Lasted 20 years and probably forever. Dries to a black firm grease finish. Wont come off unless you use WD40 or solvent.

Not for behind a headlining unless you want staining and the smell of S50 constantly. Same issue as with the Eastwood stuff unless there's no way for it to creep out at all.

Unfortunately there's some corrosion to the underside of the roof skin and bracing. Obviously I don't really want to remove the head liner every two years to gain access to re apply.

Ah, so the Eastwood product has scent to it and will remains viscous rather than setting/curing? The Dynax UC doesn't smell and sets and cures?

UC is clear and stays as a firm, dry to the touch waxy coating, so it shouldn't creep and stain the headlining if there's any way for it to get there like S50 or the eastwood chassis oil/wax type stuff would
