These days are pretty ****e too if you look a little deeper. The good old days were sh*te.
We live longer. The calorie intake per person across the world's population has increased. We don't look and dress like our fathers or grandfathers.
The only retrograde step has been the loss of Concorde.
Some great music made for early computer games. When I was a lad (not long ago compared to you lot) this was my favourite song, used to leave the sega megadrive on the start screen just for this banging tune
Health & Efficiency naturist mags, we used to find these under a hedge on the farm near where we lived. Black & white photos of naturist women.
Gurt great beavers & boobs like roofers nail bags. Then one day we found some Swedish Colour climax mags over the dump, that was like finding the holy grail!
That sounded a lot better on the amiga..When I was a lad (not long ago compared to you lot) this was my favourite song, used to leave the sega megadrive on the start screen just for this banging tune
We used to climb over the back yard wall of pubs and pass the empties under the gatesOh yes, R. Whites and scavenging around for discarded bottles to get pocket money back.

Pop deliveries. A lorry used to park up in the street selling big bottles of dandelion and burdock, cola, cream soda and lemonade. Proper returnable bottles with big black plastic/rubber stoppers. I think it was Smith's who delivered, no, not John or Sam![]()
